    2.00-3.00 pm Italy: The Emergence of ‘Alta Moda’, Giovanni Battista Giorgini , Simonetta, Pucci and Biki of Milan

    Each lecture will also make links to the textile traditions of each country, ranging from

    paintings from the Italian Renaissance to portraits by Velazquez and C18th French silks
