In September 2014, a three night four day tour to Birmingham has been organised for members. The artistic strengths of Birmingham together with the city’s great galleries are unrivalled: The Barber Institute, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the Ikon Gallery, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Birmingham Royal Ballet and their impressive venues – to name a few. Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter is now the largest jewellery making centre in Europe and the city became know as the “City of a Thousand Trades”, as a result of the thousands of talented crafts people who worked there.
The tour is based at the Birmingham Marriott Hotel. **** Centrally appointed, within a short walk of the city
