After 2 years of delayed overseas tours, our tour of Puglia in October 22 exceeded all expectations. Conical trulli houses in nearby Alberobello, whitewashed hilltop towns and the amazing Sassi cave dwellings of Matera never ceased to delight and every day brought new surprises with something for everyone. Starting with a wine-tasting, we enjoyed mouthwatering local fare throughout, and ended the trip with a rustic meal at a local Masseria farmhouse.
